In the 10th minute Adriano Planovskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Gallo de Moron's Pedro Augusto De Assis Moreira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Loco Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Johnny Gobillot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to El Gallo de Moron getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Allan Schubert hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes El Gallo de Moron got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Mikolas. Johnny Gobillot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 33rd minute of play. If Indiana Jones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half El Gallo de Moron were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marian Radziszewski to make the kick off. Johnny Gobillot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 50th minute of the match. El Gallo de Moron's Johnny Gobillot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 55th minute of play. Loco Buffon made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Adriano Planovskiy sent off a good shot on target. Los Hijos de Doña Beija made a substitution. Albino Brion replaced Jyrki Sillanpää. After a rather tough play, El Gallo de Moron's Austin Estruch got a free kick in the 64th minute. El Gallo de Moron made a substitution. Melchor Xacintu replaced Pedro Augusto De Assis Moreira. El Gallo de Moron's Thiago Elano was substituted for Adriano Planovskiy. After 66 played minutes El Gallo de Moron got a freekick which was hit by Austin Estruch. Johnny Gobillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Brion in the 75th minute of play forced El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Johnny Gobillot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Loco Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the game, Luís Fábio Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Johnny Gobillot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Elano got free with Loco Buffon in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Elano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thiago Elano's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Loco Buffon firmly grabbed it by the left post. Johnny Gobillot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shah Butcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Cresitobalo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Thiago Elano in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Loco Buffon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
