Los Súper Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Bilintx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Freddy Oihenarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Bilintx went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. 84 minutes into the match, Matias Bilintx had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddy Oihenarte. Los Súper Galácticos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matias Bilintx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Darío Moreno struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Freddy Oihenarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting de Gijón. Darío Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Oihenarte having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Los Súper Galácticos's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Bilintx came free, but Freddy Oihenarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Los Súper Galácticos booed when Sporting de Gijón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ademar Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's Darío Moreno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Oihenarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th match minute, Los Súper Galácticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Sporting de Gijón's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
