In the 23rd minute Andreas Hernaiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Rodion Nikitin came free, but Joar Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC LeX Luthor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rodion Nikitin in the 27th minute. Joar Frisck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peep Pronk's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The audience was convinced that Peep Pronk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joar Frisck was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Peep Pronk scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joar Frisck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Hernaiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Peep Pronk scored 0-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joar Frisck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC NORDLAND players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AC LeX Luthor were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peep Pronk to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 52nd minute of play forced FC NORDLAND's goalkeeper Joar Frisck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peep Pronk might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joar Frisck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joar Frisck yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. AC LeX Luthor's Zeledon Savion got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Ervin Frk. 94 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Aristide Ciuvică came free, but Joar Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelillo Di Maria in the 95th minute of play. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC LeX Luthor would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
