Elpidio Francis started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Godfredo Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the match, Peep Pronk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Branislav Velchevski. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peep Pronk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fulgencio Eyague stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Francis's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Branislav Velchevski came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk. But to his dismay, Peep Pronk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Peep Pronk scored 3-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Branislav Velchevski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 23 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Francis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fulgencio Eyague was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 29th minute Peep Pronk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Branislav Velchevski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodion Nikitin in the 33rd minute. AC LeX Luthor were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mario Yepes took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Rodion Nikitin heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 36thth minute of the game Elpidio Francis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 minutes AC LeX Luthor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Miguel Prosperi who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner Miguel Prosperi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fulgencio Eyague quite easily take care of the ball. In the 40th minute, Peep Pronk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Branislav Velchevski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peep Pronk to make the kick off. Peep Pronk took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Branislav Velchevski. Branislav Velchevski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 58 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Peep Pronk came free, but Branislav Velchevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rdth minute of the game Peep Pronk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AC LeX Luthor's Aristide Ciuvică was substituted for Peep Pronk. In the 66th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Yepes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Branislav Velchevski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermenegildo Ventura in the 83rd minute of the match. Venancio Estavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fulgencio Eyague made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Venancio Estavan sent off a good shot on target. Aristide Ciuvică's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristide Ciuvică in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Branislav Velchevski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Estavan came free, but Fulgencio Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the AC LeX Luthor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
