After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Vinícius Junior got a free kick in the 8th minute. Saverio Brion struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Valentin Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Muchachos del 86. Valentin Porfiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo-Enrique Bochini's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Brion came free, but Valentin Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddy Cidro to maneuver through the defense. Roland Delbridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Izel in the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 47th minute, when Los Muchachos del 86's Matias Aznar after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Valentin Porfiro in La Scaloneta's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch.

Valentin Porfiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo-Enrique Bochini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Saverio Brion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valentin Porfiro. La Scaloneta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saverio Brion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Los Muchachos del 86 made a substitution. Valentin Porfiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardino Bernal's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The corner led Los Muchachos del 86's Cristian Urtzi to fire away a dangerous shot which Valentin Porfiro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans cheered their team off the field, for while La Scaloneta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
