Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Hats in the 4th minute of play. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Benzema in the 8th minute of the match. Santos Orlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Mohammadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Hats came free, but Pontus Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Benzema came free, but Santos Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Luar. The throw-in from Inocencio Lixandro in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Santa Margarita's Enzo Peruxu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karim Benzema in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Santos Orlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Karim Benzema fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Margarita's protests and gave Karim Benzema a yellow card for diving instead. Karim Benzema kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaus Mohammadi in the 30th minute of the match. If Flavio Luar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Salvador Hats notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Santa Margarita's Pontus Nordström. Pontus Nordström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salvador Hats might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pontus Nordström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Hats ran back to his position shaking his head.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karim Benzema made a kick off. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save El Fortín de Floresta from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Hats in the 54th minute of play forced Santa Margarita's goalkeeper Pontus Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Karim Benzema ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Orlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Santa Margarita's Gonzalo Orixe was substituted for Eduardo De Francesco. Karim Benzema might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Orlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karim Benzema ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute Klaus Mohammadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. El Fortín de Floresta were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Santa Margarita's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alvino Tinto took the corner. Lisandro Martinez made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Santa Margarita's Enzo Peruxu. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
