If Edgardo Tanio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A. Gaby Milito's Delmar Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Hats in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of El Fortín de Floresta booed when C.A. Gaby Milito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Oalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Cecilio Oalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gaby Milito's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Selmo came free, but Delmar Kusko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan got control of the ball when Edgardo Tanio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Casimiro Policarpio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmar Kusko showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Salvador Hats ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmar Kusko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. El Fortín de Floresta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
