Marquês de Herval's Manfredo Domingues was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sydney Barros in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 10 minutes, Manfredo Domingues made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Granadero10's Sydney Barros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chuttur Lønge received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sydney Barros came out and tried to block the shot, but Chuttur Lønge slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 13th minute. Evandro Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Domingues. Evandro Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Chuttur Lønge charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chuttur Lønge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when Marquês de Herval was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chuttur Lønge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magno Prata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Evandro Lara. Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, Marquês de Herval's Leandro Fonseca made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sydney Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Evandro Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chuttur Lønge got his second yellow card in the match during the 35th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Chuttur Lønge kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Trigo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evandro Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marquês de Herval's Evandro Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Trigo in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. Edmílson Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Lara having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Inácio Barbosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evandro Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Guga Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan de Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Evandro Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granadero10. In the 63rd minute, Oséas dos Santos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Granadero10's Sydney Barros didn't even have to move. Juan de Medeiros hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes, Marquês de Herval's Oséas dos Santos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sydney Barros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marquês de Herval reached it. 67 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Souza came free, but Evandro Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Marquês de Herval's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilberto Trigo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Gilberto Trigo fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Granadero10's protests and gave Gilberto Trigo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Marquês de Herval getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. Evandro Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Granadero10's Luciano Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evandro Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Granadero10's zone, Guga Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Barros came out of the goal and Guga Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Luciano Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evandro Lara made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Gilberto Trigo sent off a good shot on target. After 93 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Cerezo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan de Medeiros in the 94th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Evandro Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
