The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the game, Witold Bycofski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 15th minute of play forced U21 Indonesia's goalkeeper Suryo Zaelani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Suryo Zaelani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witold Bycofski's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, U21 Poland's Stanislaw Modliszewski got a free kick in the 26th minute. U21 Indonesia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jérémy Špokas in the 31st minute. U21 Indonesia's Jérémy Špokas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tanek Wojtyna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 37 minutes into the game, Uut Bastari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Indonesia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Poland the free kick. Uut Bastari kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Witold Bycofski scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Suryo Zaelani, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anak Junior who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Tanek Wojtyna when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 47 played minutes U21 Poland got a freekick which was hit by Black Remi. After the first half U21 Poland were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Suryo Zaelani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Witold Bycofski in the 52nd minute. U21 Poland's Mariusz Truskovskiy was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Suryo Zaelani in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kaan Zoet kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Witold Bycofski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Suryo Zaelani made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Witold Bycofski sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th match minute, U21 Indonesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anak Junior to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes U21 Indonesia got a freekick which was hit by Anak Junior. In the 61st minute, Grzegorz Czerwinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Furlit kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, U21 Indonesia's goalkeeper Suryo Zaelani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grzegorz Czerwinski. 73 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's Grzegorz Czerwinski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Suryo Zaelani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, U21 Poland's Grzegorz Czerwinski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Suryo Zaelani. Suryo Zaelani yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. With a little luck, U21 Indonesia's Suryo Zaelani got control of the ball when Grzegorz Czerwinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over U21 Poland could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than U21 Indonesia throughout the match.
