After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Florentino Gil got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 9th match minute, Monte Hermoso Beach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Pasqualini to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, Habib Ali Picavea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonatan Enekoitz. Habib Ali Picavea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Jonatan Enekoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Ramalho. Gláuber Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Enol during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Anastasio Enol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Marcos Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morro Grande E.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 35th minute, Abel Pasqualini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Jonatan Enekoitz made a huge save. Gláuber Brodel came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Hermoso Beach's Albano Cambranes. But to his dismay, Albano Cambranes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Grau got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Ramalho to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Toninho Grau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morro Grande E.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monte Hermoso Beach the free kick. Marcos Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Saturnino Musko fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monte Hermoso Beach's protests and gave Saturnino Musko a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Monte Hermoso Beach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Musko to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Ramalho in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Enekoitz saved Monte Hermoso Beach from getting behind. The corner ended in Habib Ali Picavea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Monte Hermoso Beach's Jonatan Enekoitz did a great save. Morro Grande E.C made a substitution. Jorginho Mazza replaced Ronaldinho Meira. In the 70th minute Morro Grande E.C were awarded a corner. Habib Ali Picavea went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Maximo Lico got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Maximo Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Enekoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Ramalho's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Marcos Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Morro Grande E.C were furious when Christiano Trevisan was red carded, 86 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Morro Grande E.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Maximo Lico walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The crowd rose to their feet as Monte Hermoso Beach's Gregorio Bastian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gláuber Brodel. That made the score 2-3 after 100 minutes of play. The Monte Hermoso Beach players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
