Armando Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Rojas in the 18th minute of play. Mateo Michael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalkeeper Mateo Michael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Atlético Nuevo Laredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Mincho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrián Espadas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Michael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Michael should have stopped the shot. After the first half Soroca F.C. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Rojas was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Adrián Espadas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateo Michael. Mateo Michael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Răzvan Necula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mateo Michael having to make a save. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Nuevo Laredo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zézinho Neiva was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Godofredo Quilino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 75 minutes into the game, Răzvan Necula recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mateo Michael. After 78 played minutes Atlético Nuevo Laredo got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Orlan. 85 minutes in the game, Răzvan Necula fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mateo Michael having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Răzvan Necula reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mateo Michael. The goal made the score 0-9. Mateo Michael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Răzvan Necula in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Godofredo Quilino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 96th minute, Tobías Astorga made a precise shot to the right of Armando Armani. Soroca F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-9. Soroca F.C. played a much better game than Atlético Nuevo Laredo and deserved their victory. The Atlético Nuevo Laredo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
