In the 2nd minute Fermin Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Dolfo in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romulo Otsoa saved Cañani OFF from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Cañani OFF's zone, Fermin Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Otsoa came out of the goal and Fermin Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cañani OFF's Romulo Otsoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Dolfo in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cañani OFF's goalkeeper Romulo Otsoa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amedeo Biscotti scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romulo Otsoa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romulo Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Dolfo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Fermin Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Fermin Dolfo sped through Cañani OFF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romulo Otsoa. In the 29th minute Fermin Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Otsoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Yalapa got a corner. Cañani OFF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Armando Junior ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Dolfo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romulo Otsoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Yalapa fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fermin Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yalapa's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Dolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Otsoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Romulo Otsoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amedeo Biscotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Yalapa were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cañani OFF's Romulo Otsoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Cañani OFF from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the match, Cañani OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı came free, but Romulo Otsoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Romulo Otsoa. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 59th minute, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yalapa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Yalapa made a substitution. Cristobal Isusko replaced Teofilo Umbruso. After a rather tough play, Cañani OFF's Martin Emeterio got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Cañani OFF's Romulo Otsoa got control of the ball when Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Martin Emeterio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cañani OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yalapa the free kick. After 68 played minutes Cañani OFF got a freekick which was hit by Martin Emeterio. Romulo Otsoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After 72 minutes Cañani OFF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Diego Armando Junior who took care of the corner kick. Diego Armando Junior made a great header on Yalapa's corner, it was just that Cañani OFF's Romulo Otsoa managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Cañani OFF defense, Carlos Herrera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Otsoa. The Cañani OFF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Otsoa should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Carlos Herrera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yalapa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. After 81 played minutes Cañani OFF got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Osoitz. After having played for 83 minutes, Amedeo Biscotti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amedeo Biscotti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Herrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Otsoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Herrera ran back to his position shaking his head. Amedeo Biscotti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Romulo Otsoa made a huge save. Yalapa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diego Armando Junior in the 88th minute. A well done corner resulted in Fabian Rosalio drilling the ball in to score 0-9 behind Cañani OFF's goalkeeper. In the 91st minute, Paulino Osoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Carlos Herrera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Otsoa was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Romulo Otsoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Herrera in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Yalapa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cañani OFF.
