An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Adomaitis in the 4th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Dolfo in the 6th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 8 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Jose Nuno. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes Yalapa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elpidio Curcio who took care of the corner kick. DREAM TEAM WORLD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elpidio Curcio in the 13th minute. Betinho de Queirós made a great header on DREAM TEAM WORLD's corner, it was just that Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 16th minute Andrzej Zapolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri İhtiyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrzej Zapolski in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basri İhtiyar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The supporters of DREAM TEAM WORLD booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 28th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basri İhtiyar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Andrzej Zapolski got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andrzej Zapolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı was substituted for Fermin Dolfo. The wind increased when Andrzej Zapolski made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Yalapa getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fabian Rosalio hit a great ball. Lu Zhen Sheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 55th minute of the match. Basri İhtiyar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 56th minute. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 61st minute of play. DREAM TEAM WORLD were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Yalapa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elpidio Curcio took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Elpidio Curcio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Basri İhtiyar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andrzej Zapolski might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Basri İhtiyar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Zapolski ran back to his position shaking his head. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Yalapa from getting a goal against them. Andrzej Zapolski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. André Luís Lessard replaced Andrzej Zapolski. Yalapa were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after DREAM TEAM WORLD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diego Armando Junior took the corner. André Luís Lessard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basri İhtiyar having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luís Lessard got free with Basri İhtiyar in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If André Luís Lessard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Lessard in the 90th minute of play. Lu Zhen Sheng came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı. But to his dismay, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Yalapa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when André Luís Lessard scored to the left of an out of position Basri İhtiyar, making the score, 1-3. DREAM TEAM WORLD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
