With a little luck, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo got control of the ball when Zair Hasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victoriano Bernaldo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zair Hasa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Zair Hasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Victoriano Bernaldo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mariano Silbestre struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Pål Sefastsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dep Colonia Avellaneda. 16 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Buckner came free, but Pål Sefastsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zair Hasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pål Sefastsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darryl Buckner's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's Zair Hasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicanor Izel's late challenge caught a National Team Cape-Verde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Izel helped the player get up and apologised. Nicanor Izel kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Victoriano Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zair Hasa in the 33rd minute. A collision led to National Team Cape-Verde getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Şahap Özgu hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Darryl Buckner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pål Sefastsson was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Melander came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zair Hasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Bernaldo having to interfere. Victoriano Bernaldo came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by National Team Cape-Verde's Zair Hasa. But to his dismay, Zair Hasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as National Team Cape-Verde's Zair Hasa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victoriano Bernaldo. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Melander to make the kick off. Zair Hasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victoriano Bernaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fredric Melander in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Bernaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Labarra in the 56th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Pål Sefastsson threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leopoldo Rosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zair Hasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Zachary Pliszka replaced Zair Hasa. Pål Sefastsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Buckner in the 66th minute of play. Zachary Pliszka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Oswald Winnepennincx replaced Fredric Melander. 77 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Pliszka came free, but Victoriano Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zachary Pliszka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Bernaldo having to make a save. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachary Pliszka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Pliszka in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner. Leopoldo Rosa went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Dep Colonia Avellaneda's corner Leopoldo Rosa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pål Sefastsson quite easily take care of the ball. In the 87th minute Zachary Pliszka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Labarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswald Winnepennincx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the National Team Cape-Verde players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
