The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Flavio Migliorati in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC ICEWIND DALE's Erik Stor. Per-Arne Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Marinho in the 21st minute of play. FC ICEWIND DALE's Kuno Lüdimõis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet İlke Beşer in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute Fernando Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Arne Hansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Marinho in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Arne Hansson saved Almaröds FF from getting behind. In the 28thth minute of the game Fernando Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almaröds FF's Per-Arne Hansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet İlke Beşer to strike the kick off in the second half. Fernando Marinho ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Marinho came free, but Per-Arne Hansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per-Arne Hansson was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Ding Beckham capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ding Beckham really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. FC ICEWIND DALE made a substitution. Wincent Debowski replaced Boguslaw Zdeb. FC ICEWIND DALE played a much better game than Almaröds FF and deserved their victory. The Almaröds FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
