A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Basri İhtiyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Cortez in the 22nd minute of play. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Cortez in the 22nd minute of the match. If Fermin Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Loukianos Livas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basri İhtiyar, 1-0. With a little luck, Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar got control of the ball when Alcino Jesus tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Ramond didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Livas in the 39th minute of play. Eustaquio Ramond kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı to make the kick off. Basri İhtiyar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Livas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Ramond hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı got free with Armindo Maltez in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute of the match Yalapa got a corner. Ponte do Carro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Rosalio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ponte do Carro's goalie and right to Eustaquio Ramond. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ponte do Carro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Armindo Maltez made a huge save. Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alcino Jesus in the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armindo Maltez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Armindo Maltez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 75th minute of play. Eustaquio Ramond was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The corner ended in Fabian Rosalio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ponte do Carro's Armindo Maltez did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Ponte do Carro's zone, Juan Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Maltez came out of the goal and Juan Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yalapa's Juan Edwardo got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Falcão to maneuver through the defense. Tarmo Helm hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Maltez having to interfere.
