In the 16th minute James Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 17th minute of play. Thanasis Koltsidas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dumitru Purcărete in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Koltsidas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes in the game Marinos Sakalis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rodrigo Hats. 32 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's King Scorpio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thanasis Koltsidas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. James Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and King Scorpio made a kick off. AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save AEK S.C from getting a goal against them. King Scorpio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Thanasis Koltsidas made a huge save. King Scorpio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to A4p FC Gad getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Iulian Berceanu hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Carreira came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Carreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. AEK S.C's Thomas Papatrechas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Flavius Cândroveanu, made in the 88th minute of the game. Glenn Fyfe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Krommidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Thanasis Koltsidas made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gică Busuioc sent off a good shot on target. Gică Busuioc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thalis Krommidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. AEK S.C's Thanasis Koltsidas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save AEK S.C from getting a goal against them. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
