The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabinho dos Santos got free with Igor de Barros in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Ahmet Ali Yücesan made a precise shot to the right of Acácio Lara. Club Athletico Paulistano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Acácio Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 played minutes Club Athletico Paulistano got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Mendes. Igor de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Fabinho dos Santos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Igor de Barros. Fabinho dos Santos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After the first half H4K.BR were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

H4K.BR's attentive Eduard Văleanu managed to snatch the ball when Eliseu Mendes made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Club Athletico Paulistano's zone, Ahmet Ali Yücesan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Lara came out of the goal and Ahmet Ali Yücesan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, H4K.BR's goal looked a bit too open when Saad Dar came free, but Igor de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eliseu Mendes made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Glauco da Rocha however managed to control. After a rather tough play, H4K.BR's Daniel Alves got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 82nd minute, Patrick Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrick Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Acácio Lara made a huge save. The H4K.BR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing H4K.BR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
