The throw-in from Lukas Smed in the 39th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Ricardo Marquez. Duncan Hatfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eugênio Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Thad Castle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugênio Recife. Thad Castle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thad Castle to make the kick off. Nychyporivka Ψ's Leonid Bykovets got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dan Junilă was a little too slow when Lin Xiang Yang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thad Castle in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugênio Recife saved Milan da Freguesia F.C. from getting behind. In the 85th minute, Thad Castle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Ricardo Marquez in the 94th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nychyporivka Ψ's Lukas Smed. Eugênio Recife came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Nychyporivka Ψ's Thad Castle. But to his dismay, Thad Castle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
