The throw-in from Fred Åkerström in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Tello AFC's Hong Yi Yang. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Åkerström in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Pello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lázaro Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Cordearo came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Jabier Igual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgilio Van Dijck got free with Zé Roberto Teixeira in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Mândrilă came free, but Dalmacio Pello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Dalmacio Pello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Åkerström went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 61 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalmacio Pello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fred Åkerström charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Åkerström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Playa Malvín getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Emanuel Vollens made in the 82nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Martin Billing however managed to control. The Playa Malvín supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Playa Malvín would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
