Saturnino Abeitia took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrei Azamfirei. Andrei Azamfirei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Rosio came free, but Andrei Azamfirei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vito Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Murgoci in the 10th minute. Saturnino Abeitia scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrei Azamfirei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrei Azamfirei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Ixaka in the 16th minute of play. Andrei Azamfirei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Abeitia in the 18th minute of the match. Vito Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isac Begal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vito Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isac Begal, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Jacinto Rosio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Rosio came free, but Andrei Azamfirei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Azamfirei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Ixaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute Jacinto Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Azamfirei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Liberland's goalkeeper Vito Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Murgoci. Jacinto Rosio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrei Azamfirei having to make a save. Liberland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Petruț Oanță scored to the left of an out of position Vito Rezende, making the score, 1-2. Vito Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Stănoiu in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Liberland were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Rosio was the one to do the kick off. Andrei Azamfirei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Ixaka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to BlueLionesse getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Corneliu Stănoiu hit a great ball. Saturnino Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Azamfirei having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Liberland's Mariano Caetano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andrei Azamfirei. Andrei Azamfirei yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Saturnino Abeitia scored 1-4 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andrei Azamfirei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isac Begal in the 82nd minute of play forced Liberland's goalkeeper Vito Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isac Begal in the 86th minute of play.
