A collision led to Motu getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ubaldo Ibar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Maciel in the 23rd minute of play forced Motu's goalkeeper Eliseo Abeita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Motu booed when CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruy Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Ibar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Betão de Andrade hit a great ball. Fred Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Tebaldo in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute Ubaldo Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Ruy Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th match minute, CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Amaral to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Betão de Andrade lost his temper 58 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Motu:s goal. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Motu. In the 63rd minute, Jackie Chana ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Abeita was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Eliseo Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Motu's Fred Santana threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Elvio Maule, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Washington Vinhas charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Washington Vinhas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Washington Vinhas hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA's Fred Santana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Motu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CLUBE PANTERA NEGRA.
