After a rather tough play, Barr Point's Nathanial Alsford got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Paulinho de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Syd Knott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute Brynn Frost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Knott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Brynn Frost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sam Clifford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Syd Knott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Clifford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esad Vidić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brett Leeson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Tristram Kerfoot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barr Point's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birstall Bombers the free kick. After a rather tough play, Barr Point's Tristram Kerfoot got a free kick in the 18th minute. Brynn Frost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Syd Knott having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brett Leeson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jamie Mayfield's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esad Vidić was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Esad Vidić made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Oscar Beech sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Barr Point's Oscar Beech got a free kick in the 44th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Birstall Bombers's zone, Oscar Beech stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esad Vidić came out of the goal and Oscar Beech tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oscar Beech made a kick off. Oscar Beech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esad Vidić having to interfere. Syd Knott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Clifford in the 55th minute of play. Barr Point's Oscar Beech got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Birstall Bombers's Keith Trotter got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Syd Knott. A collision led to Birstall Bombers getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Devon Dunning hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Jamie Mayfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esad Vidić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamie Mayfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Esad Vidić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brett Leeson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barr Point's Brett Leeson pulled a muscle in his back after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Rufus Morgan fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Birstall Bombers's protests and gave Rufus Morgan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Birstall Bombers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rufus Morgan to maneuver through the defense. Syd Knott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brynn Frost in the 83rd minute of the match. Syd Knott made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brynn Frost in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Sam Clifford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Birstall Bombers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
