The audience thought a goal was coming when Kostas Mitakos got free with Giannis Kapogiannopoulos in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Kostas Mitakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giannis Kapogiannopoulos. Green Hell F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kostas Mitakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kostas Mitakos in the 15th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Ntinos Agapakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greek Saints's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ntinos Agapakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kostas Mitakos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 21st playminute. After a defensive mix-up in Green Hell F.C.'s zone, Alekos Zacharidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos came out of the goal and Alekos Zacharidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omiros Pachatouridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Vournas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Babbis Vournas fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Green Hell F.C.'s protests and gave Babbis Vournas a yellow card for diving instead. Babbis Vournas kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Ntinos Agapakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Kapogiannopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute Greek Saints were awarded a corner. Vassilis Vissis went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Greek Saints's corner Vassilis Vissis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Giannis Kapogiannopoulos quite easily take care of the ball. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ntinos Agapakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Babbis Vournas to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ntinos Agapakis in the 55th minute of play forced Green Hell F.C.'s goalkeeper Giannis Kapogiannopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Ntinos Agapakis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Green Hell F.C.'s Giannis Kapogiannopoulos. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Green Hell F.C.'s Babbis Vournas got his second yellow card of the match in the 60th minute. The referee ordered Babbis Vournas off the ground. In the 61st minute, Babbis Vournas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Ntinos Agapakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Greek Saints fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 78 minutes into the game, Konstantinos Fotakoglou threw the ball into play from the sideline. Greek Saints's Alekos Zacharidis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ignatios Konstas charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignatios Konstas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80th match minute, Greek Saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignatios Konstas to maneuver through the defense. Greek Saints's Alekos Zacharidis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Argyris Moustakis, made in the 83rd minute of the game. After 86 minutes, Isidoros Petroulis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Green Hell F.C. and the Greek Saints players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Green Hell F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Isidoros Petroulis. After some careless play in the Green Hell F.C. defense, Ntinos Agapakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giannis Kapogiannopoulos. The Green Hell F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giannis Kapogiannopoulos should have stopped the shot. Giannis Kapogiannopoulos came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Greek Saints's Kostas Mitakos. But to his dismay, Kostas Mitakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Greek Saints fully deserved thier win.
