When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sven Brask sped through FC Zhelezna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Milyo Gelovski. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Facundo Nazario in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Milyo Gelovski saved FC Zhelezna from getting behind. Facundo Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Facundo Nazario might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Milyo Gelovski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Facundo Nazario ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Facundo Nazario in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Milyo Gelovski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute, FC Zhelezna's Ganyo Zhdrakov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ganyo Zhdrakov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Zhelezna protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ganyo Zhdrakov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of FC Zhelezna:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lokomotiv Plovdiv:s goal. Krasen Kalenov walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Milyo Gelovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Facundo Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Milyo Gelovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Lokomotiv Plovdiv got a freekick which was hit by Krasen Kalenov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tervel Royachki got free with Krum Nikolchov in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 minutes of play, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Facundo Nazario made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Milyo Gelovski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Facundo Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Milyo Gelovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodosi Diamandiev stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute Toshko Yahlev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krum Nikolchov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Zhelyo Florev fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Zhelezna's protests and gave Zhelyo Florev a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Zhelezna getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Milyo Gelovski came out of the goal and Facundo Nazario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Facundo Nazario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Milyo Gelovski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Facundo Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 87 minutes into the match, FC Zhelezna's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Nazario came free, but Milyo Gelovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Facundo Nazario during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Facundo Nazario hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Asparuh Pisev took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Krum Nikolchov. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Lokomotiv Plovdiv left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Zhelezna.
