Spectators: 156 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) MZ Rapid's Filippos Stathopoulos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to TAXI-MM- getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Marian Leucuța hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Iulian Iosif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Hudiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MZ Rapid's Grigore Eftimescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save MZ Rapid from getting a goal against them. After 15 played minutes MZ Rapid got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Nișu. The crowd rose to their feet as Gavril Miheș kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Grigore Eftimescu. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Fabian Hudiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filippos Stathopoulos in the 25th minute of play. When TAXI-MM-'s Gavril Miheș in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MZ Rapid's goalie prevented a goal. 29 minutes into the game, Adrian Gugulanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Fabian Hudiță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd minute, Filippos Stathopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Hudiță was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. TAXI-MM-'s Fabian Hudiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippos Stathopoulos in the 36th minute of play. Filippos Stathopoulos took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Hudiță. Fabian Hudiță dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 41st minute Marcel Ursu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigore Eftimescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes TAXI-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Niculae Mihoc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Ursu in the 46th minute of play forced MZ Rapid's goalkeeper Grigore Eftimescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gavril Miheș to make the kick off. If Filiberto Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Gugulanu in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Hudiță saved TAXI-MM- from getting behind. 55 minutes into the game, Filippos Stathopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fabian Hudiță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When George Panaitescu fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAXI-MM-'s protests and gave George Panaitescu a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filippos Stathopoulos in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Hudiță saved TAXI-MM- from getting behind. Grigore Eftimescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Ursu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Liviu Buda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute of the match, Filiberto Paz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabian Hudiță saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 83 minutes into the match, TAXI-MM-'s goalkeeper Fabian Hudiță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filippos Stathopoulos. In the 89th minute of the match Filippos Stathopoulos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabian Hudiță skillfully saved the ball. Grigore Eftimescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Ursu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Grigore Eftimescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavril Miheș in the 94th minute of play. If Marcel Ursu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MZ Rapid played a much better game than TAXI-MM- and deserved their victory. The TAXI-MM- players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
