After 25 minutes of play, De krokante kroketjes's Stasio Burdzel made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jasper Opdebeeck was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the game, De krokante kroketjes's Stasio Burdzel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jasper Opdebeeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Delmiro Jaunti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to De krokante kroketjes getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Stasio Burdzel hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Lieven Cromefeldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De krokante kroketjes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bruges the free kick. Lieven Cromefeldt hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Stasio Burdzel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jasper Opdebeeck. The goal made the score 8-0. In the 48th minute, Stasio Burdzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De krokante kroketjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stasio Burdzel was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, De krokante kroketjes's Stasio Burdzel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jasper Opdebeeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Henri-Patrick Van Dyck charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 61st match minute, FC Bruges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henri-Patrick Van Dyck to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Stasio Burdzel put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. After 72 minutes of play, De krokante kroketjes's Stasio Burdzel made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jasper Opdebeeck was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the FC Bruges defense, Stasio Burdzel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jasper Opdebeeck. The FC Bruges fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jasper Opdebeeck should have stopped the shot. Jasper Opdebeeck came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by De krokante kroketjes's Stasio Burdzel. But to his dismay, Stasio Burdzel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. In the 84th minute, Stasio Burdzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De krokante kroketjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 16-0. A collision led to De krokante kroketjes getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Stasio Burdzel hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Shen Shi Mo made a precise shot to the right of Mickael De Koster. De krokante kroketjes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-1. After having played for 96 minutes, Stasio Burdzel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De krokante kroketjes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stasio Burdzel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. De krokante kroketjes had played much better football throughout.
