Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) Alpina FC's Hermenegildo Castilho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Alexander Van Hautvinck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dre Coomans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Selebi-Phikwe defense, Cezary Owsiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dre Coomans. The Selebi-Phikwe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dre Coomans should have stopped the shot. After 8 played minutes Selebi-Phikwe got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Elens. Dre Coomans came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Alpina FC's Dirk Damman. But to his dismay, Dirk Damman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Gerrit Claevers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Selebi-Phikwe's Jasper Ghesels got a free kick in the 16th minute. Dirk Damman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dre Coomans. Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dre Coomans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexander Van Hautvinck went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Selebi-Phikwe's Dre Coomans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Castilho in the 24th minute of play. Dre Coomans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Van Hautvinck in the 26th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Dirk Damman notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Selebi-Phikwe's Dre Coomans. Dre Coomans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermenegildo Castilho in the 38th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Dre Coomans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th match minute, Selebi-Phikwe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Elens to maneuver through the defense. Dre Coomans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Damman in the 40th minute of play. Dre Coomans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hermenegildo Castilho went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dirk Damman in the 44th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Dre Coomans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Dirk Damman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Dre Coomans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louis-Philippe Pelsmaeckers was the one to do the kick off. Manu Rosseels stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis-Philippe Pelsmaeckers's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Gerrit Claevers took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manu Rosseels. Manu Rosseels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Dirk Damman took a quick shot and it went in 1-11 without a chance for Dre Coomans to make any attempt to save it. In the 80th minute, Jasper Ghesels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Babacar Sylla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dre Coomans came out and tried to block the shot, but Babacar Sylla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-12 in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the game, Alpina FC's Dirk Damman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dre Coomans made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-13. Dre Coomans was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dirk Damman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-14 in the 86 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Luka Sielis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Dirk Damman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alpina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-16. When the match was over Alpina FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Selebi-Phikwe throughout the match.
