The Suikerklontjes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils Lambert should have stopped the shot. Steffe De Prins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Van Laer in the 18th minute of the match. Nils Lambert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wannes Tielemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bart Van de Velde to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Jan Huybrechts cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
