In the 12th match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Helander to maneuver through the defense. Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Helander, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Kvalfält came free, but Ronnie Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Stålberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Scholes in the 18th minute. Paul Scholes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Lukas Stålberg made a huge save. The corner led Gnaget United FC's Paul Scholes to fire away a dangerous shot which Lukas Stålberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 20 played minutes NovaStella FK got a freekick which was hit by Paul Kvalfält. Lukas Stålberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicky Butt in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Gnaget United FC were awarded a corner. Paul Scholes went to the cornerflag to take it. Ronnie Hellström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Helander in the 26th minute of play. Paul Scholes took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lukas Stålberg. Lukas Stålberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Paul Scholes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Stålberg having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicky Butt got free with Lukas Stålberg in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Paul Scholes made the kick off in the second half. Lukas Stålberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Scholes in the 55th minute of the match. Valdemar Skräddare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronnie Hellström having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as NovaStella FK's Valdemar Skräddare slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronnie Hellström. That made the score 2-1 after 59 minutes of play. In the 62nd minute of the match Patrik Jelm shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronnie Hellström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th minute Paul Scholes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Stålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Vollander hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Lukas Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Scholes in the 73rd minute of play. After 73 minutes, Patrik Jelm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NovaStella FK and the Gnaget United FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Patrik Jelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lukas Stålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Scholes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lukas Stålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Scholes in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, NovaStella FK's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Klint came free, but Lukas Stålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gnaget United FC booed when NovaStella FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Jelm didn't get a good kick on the ball. NovaStella FK's Lukas Stålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Klint in the 85th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Helander during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, NovaStella FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Helander to maneuver through the defense. Lukas Stålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joar Lilja, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
