In the 13th minute, Kurt Henriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Kurt Henriksson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Arsenal FC's Patrik Melberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Hodyl in the 17th minute of play forced Sävedalen's goalkeeper Arne Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Songur Yoran made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Roy Danielsson sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Arsenal FC booed when Sävedalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Wahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sävedalen's Arne Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Löfgren in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Löfgren in the 31st minute of play forced Sävedalen's goalkeeper Arne Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Songur Yoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Tingberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Hodyl to strike the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sävedalen's Oskar Sigman was substituted for Lennart Alstedt. Kurt Henriksson made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Arsenal FC's Patric Valler. After having played for 61 minutes, Jonathan Tingberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sävedalen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Tingberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Arsenal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Songur Yoran should have stopped the shot. Songur Yoran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Hagberg in the 88th minute of play. Songur Yoran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Hagberg scored 2-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Songur Yoran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arsenal FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
