Roger Myles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Nixon in the 13th minute of play. Roger Myles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Nixon in the 19th minute of play forced Illinois Bluewaters's goalkeeper Roger Myles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Myles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Cayla in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Calvin Cayla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Myles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Roger Myles came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mountain West FC's Sammy Nixon. But to his dismay, Sammy Nixon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Mountain West FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Dominic Quinn hit a great ball. Roger Myles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Nixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Illinois Bluewaters booed when Mountain West FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Nixon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deshawn Glenn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Pascal Collier when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Roger Myles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Nixon in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Mountain West FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Cayla to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Deshawn Glenn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Pascal Collier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deshawn Glenn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Roger Myles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sammy Nixon in the 54th minute of play. Pascal Collier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deshawn Glenn in the 56th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Illinois Bluewaters's goalkeeper Roger Myles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roderick Burnham. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Todd in the 64th minute of play forced Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Pascal Collier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 minutes, Dante Todd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Illinois Bluewaters and the Mountain West FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Illinois Bluewaters's Dante Todd got a free kick in the 66th minute. Steve Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mountain West FC booed when Illinois Bluewaters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otis Connors didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Illinois Bluewaters's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roderick Burnham fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Illinois Bluewaters booed when Mountain West FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sammy Nixon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Deshawn Glenn came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Illinois Bluewaters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deshawn Glenn couldn't finish the play. Jess Hollandsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Illinois Bluewaters's Rudy Bates got a free kick in the 86th minute. Roderick Burnham kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Pascal Collier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Todd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jess Hollandsworth hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to Illinois Bluewaters getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Otis Connors hit a great ball. The Illinois Bluewaters fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mountain West FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
