Khachatryan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Ari Currie scored to the left of an out of position Levon Sarkisyan, making the score, 1-2. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Arin Mndoyants put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Shannon Marquez. But to his dismay, Bernardo Caballero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Levon Sarkisyan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Vaughn, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Grigor Grigoryans short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Shannon Marquez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Khachatryan's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
