Murilo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Altino Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Lamego in the 13th minute of play forced Ɍυƒυs™'s goalkeeper Altino Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miradeses FC's Jerónimo Espírito Santo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Mendonça in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute Miguel Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerónimo Espírito Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Abel Pegado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 played minutes Miradeses FC got a freekick which was hit by Murilo Azevedo. Raul Espírito Santo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerónimo Espírito Santo having to make a save. Marcelo Graça's late challenge caught a Miradeses FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Graça helped the player get up and apologised. Murilo Azevedo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The supporters of Miradeses FC booed when Ɍυƒυs™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adérito Vilas Boas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Pegado's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Altino Santarém firmly grabbed it by the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Abel Pegado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Altino Santarém, 2-0. Abel Pegado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerónimo Espírito Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Mendonça in the 43rd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Lamego to make the kick off. Miguel Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Jerónimo Espírito Santo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 62nd match minute, Miradeses FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Lousada to maneuver through the defense. Jerónimo Espírito Santo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Saúl Soveral sent off a good shot on target. After 64 minutes, Saúl Soveral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ɍυƒυs™ and the Miradeses FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Miradeses FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gusmão Menezes to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes Miradeses FC got a freekick which was hit by Gusmão Menezes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Burak Rede in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Altino Santarém prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Ɍυƒυs™ getting a freekick after 75 minutes play.
