Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zelimir Amsel took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fidelio Kiener's late challenge caught a Axenstein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidelio Kiener helped the player get up and apologised. Patrick Knechtli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerome Erni in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Axenstein got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Erni. A hard shot 10 in the game by Fidelio Kiener from a close distance when the talented Michele Rieger managed to make a qualified save. Axenstein's players were relieved. Sebastien Espa kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Fidelio Kiener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fidelio Kiener in the 14th minute of play forced Axenstein's goalkeeper Michele Rieger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michele Rieger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidelio Kiener in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Axenstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonny Schwyzer to maneuver through the defense. After 22 minutes, Zelimir Amsel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Axenstein and the Olympique Fribourg players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Axenstein's Benjamin Muzurovic got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Axenstein's zone, Gene Emmenegger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michele Rieger came out of the goal and Gene Emmenegger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Medero Gadea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Fribourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With his leg Michele Rieger managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Olympique Fribourg's Téo Savion fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 35th minute, Zelimir Amsel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Axenstein's goal looked a bit too open when Fidelio Kiener came free, but Michele Rieger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Fidelio Kiener made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when Axenstein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Muzurovic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michele Rieger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Savion, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's Gene Emmenegger got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 60th match minute, Axenstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alwin Traugott to maneuver through the defense. Olympique Fribourg's Salomo Montandon was substituted for Dany Wiesenberg. Olympique Fribourg's Marcellus Walpert was substituted for Daniel Schroeder. A collision led to Axenstein getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Benjamin Muzurovic hit a great ball. Téo Savion kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Michele Rieger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medero Gadea, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the game, Benjamin Muzurovic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Axenstein's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympique Fribourg the free kick. Benjamin Muzurovic kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes, Olympique Fribourg's Marcellus Walpert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michele Rieger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olympique Fribourg reached it. Michele Rieger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medero Gadea in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Axenstein getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Sebastien Espa hit a great ball. Michele Rieger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidelio Kiener, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. During the 84th minute of the match Fidelio Kiener completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fidelio Kiener a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 85th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidelio Kiener to maneuver through the defense. Téo Savion scored 3-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michele Rieger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Olympique Fribourg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
