The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Harald Dyrseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Øvstebø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harald Dyrseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armas Heinola in the 11th minute of the match. Cheeky Nuts United's Jon-Erik Vedøy managed to work through Dum Dum Boys Athletics's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jon-Erik Vedøy dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Harald Dyrseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon-Erik Vedøy in the 14th minute of the match. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Harald Dyrseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armas Heinola in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Armas Heinola made a precise shot to the right of Harald Dyrseth. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 21st minute Armas Heinola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Dyrseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stathis Konstantakis made a great header on Cheeky Nuts United's corner, it was just that Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Harald Dyrseth managed to reach the ball for a save. Harald Dyrseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Ramberg in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Cheeky Nuts United's Armas Heinola nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harald Dyrseth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Harald Dyrseth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jon-Erik Vedøy went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Olof Skretting was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bendik Skjetne. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Harald Dyrseth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon-Erik Vedøy in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, Dum Dum Boys Athletics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bendik Skjetne to maneuver through the defense. Stathis Konstantakis struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Harald Dyrseth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheeky Nuts United. 45 minutes into the match, Cheeky Nuts United's Armas Heinola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harald Dyrseth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Sebastian Ramberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harald Dyrseth was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Severin Evertsen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 75 minutes, Kåre Muller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dum Dum Boys Athletics and the Cheeky Nuts United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dum Dum Boys Athletics getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kåre Muller hit a great ball. 77 minutes into the match, Armas Heinola dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Harald Dyrseth, 0-7. 80 minutes into the match, Sebastian Ramberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Harald Dyrseth, 0-8. Bendik Skjetne's late challenge caught a Cheeky Nuts United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bendik Skjetne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Bendik Skjetne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Dyrseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armas Heinola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Armas Heinola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harald Dyrseth. That made the score 0-9 in the 87 minute of play. The goalkeeper, Harald Dyrseth, was totally fooled by Cheeky Nuts United's Birk Wall, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Cheeky Nuts United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
