In the 10th minute, Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kim-André Østreng. Kim-André Østreng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Kim-André Østreng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joachim Follestad in the 18th minute. Bjørn Ringnes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Fardal, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. A hard shot 23 in the game by Jakob Fagervold from a close distance when the talented Kim-André Østreng managed to make a qualified save. Saga TF's players were relieved. Kim-André Østreng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Follestad, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Saga TF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Øyvind Åsland did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-0 to the left of a surprised Kim-André Østreng 35 minutes into the match. Kim-André Østreng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Grønstad in the 39th minute. Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes, Lost in pace's Stig Grønstad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kim-André Østreng came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lost in pace reached it. Øyvind Åsland took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kim-André Østreng. Kim-André Østreng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The wind increased when Julius Fardal made the kick off in the second half. Saga TF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Øyvind Åsland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.
