An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Ubendu in the 7th minute of play forced Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goalkeeper Elvio Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elvio Gonchan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremias Ubendu's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edgardo Dunixi was slow to take the kick. During this time LOS TRIPODES's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to LOS TRIPODES's Eugenio Oliveiro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Elazar came free, but Elvio Gonchan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LOS TRIPODES's Marco Tulio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save LOS TRIPODES from getting a goal against them. Esteve Elazar took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Gonchan. Elvio Gonchan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goalkeeper Elvio Gonchan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Teodoro Fagildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, LOS TRIPODES's Marco Tulio got control of the ball when Teodoro Fagildo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Tulio made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Gaston Santana sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goalkeeper Elvio Gonchan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Elvio Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Ubendu in the 28th minute of play. Esteve Elazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elvio Gonchan having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Dunixi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Gonchan was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for LOS TRIPODES. Edgardo Dunixi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Elvio Gonchan. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaston Santana during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gaston Santana hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.
With his leg Elvio Gonchan managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when LOS TRIPODES's Esteve Elazar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Isaac Cresconio's late challenge caught a LOS TRIPODES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Ubendu in the 62nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Cisco during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Jeremias Ubendu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elvio Gonchan. That made the score 1-4 in the 65 minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Esteve Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LOS TRIPODES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Tulio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Jeremias Ubendu scored to the left of an out of position Elvio Gonchan, making the score, 1-5. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Jeremias Ubendu took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Elvio Gonchan to make any attempt to save it. In the 86th minute of the match, Esteve Elazar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elvio Gonchan was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Elvio Gonchan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Ubendu in the 88th minute of the match. Eliseo Etor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marco Tulio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Esteve Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Gonchan made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Esteve Elazar sent off a good shot on target. The LOS TRIPODES supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing LOS TRIPODES would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
