In the 38th minute, KIRICOCHO FC's Baldomiro Ikatz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Baldomiro Ikatz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KIRICOCHO FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Baldomiro Ikatz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for KIRICOCHO FC! Venancio Madaleno had in the 39thth minute some difficulties stopping Basilio Manny's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 39 minutes into the match, Basilio Manny notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of KIRICOCHO FC's Venancio Madaleno. Venancio Madaleno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oscar Rito's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Ignacio Soter struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Clud Almagro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KIRICOCHO FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Soter got free with Clud Almagro in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Abancens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Madaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Manny in the 69th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Cesar Abancens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester Quijano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KIRICOCHO FC the free kick. Ubaldo Ur hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Manchester Quijano's Clud Almagro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Miliano in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the KIRICOCHO FC defense, Esteban Poncio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Venancio Madaleno. The KIRICOCHO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Venancio Madaleno should have stopped the shot. Venancio Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Abancens in the 95th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Manchester Quijano had won after a very even match.
