StardustRevolution's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert-Jan Lewandowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Gau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mainumby's Honorato Omero was substituted for Gerardo Oinatz. Mainumby made a substitution. Rigoberto Santxol replaced Luis Semeno.

Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Dominic in the 55th minute of play. Mainumby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert-Jan Lewandowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Marco Millrick took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santiago Gau. Santiago Gau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 2-6 when Remigio Argina sped through Mainumby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santiago Gau. Santiago Gau made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gabriel Salvino sent off a good shot on target. Santiago Gau came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by StardustRevolution's Remigio Argina. But to his dismay, Remigio Argina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-7. Remigio Argina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Santiago Gau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marco Erasto charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Erasto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 87 minutes into the game, StardustRevolution's Remigio Argina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Gau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-9. Remigio Argina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Santiago Gau when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Remigio Argina in the 97thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santiago Gau, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Honorato Omero kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the match was over StardustRevolution could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mainumby throughout the match.
