NUMBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Magdaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Valery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Galtero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NUMBA's Justo Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Galtero in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to NUMBA getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Roberto Eusko hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacobo Magdaleno got free with Gaspar Valery in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Pingos Futbol Club's Cleto Oliviero got a free kick in the 20th minute. A hard shot 30 in the game by Jacobo Magdaleno from a close distance when the talented Gaspar Valery managed to make a qualified save. Pingos Futbol Club's players were relieved. With his leg Gaspar Valery managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when NUMBA's Adan Lauro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 51 played minutes NUMBA got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Magdaleno. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Lauro in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaspar Valery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ivan Galtero came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Justo Ruy could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, NUMBA's Bernardo Quinten got a free kick in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, NUMBA's Justo Ruy got control of the ball when Ivan Galtero tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pingos Futbol Club's Ivan Galtero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Justo Ruy. That made the score 0-1 after 66 minutes of play. In the 68th match minute, Pingos Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Oliviero to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Jacobo Magdaleno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of NUMBA booed when Pingos Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Batistuta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th match minute, Pingos Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Batistuta to maneuver through the defense. Adan Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Valery having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Roberto Eusko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaspar Valery quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 84th minute Gustavo Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Ruy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th match minute, NUMBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Quinten to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Ivan Galtero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pingos Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Gustavo Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pingos Futbol Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
