With a little luck, La Ballenera's Elvio Muno got control of the ball when Delmiro Abajas tried to sneak it across the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Siro Urki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elvio Muno quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcos Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Abajas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Apolo Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PiCaNTeS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Playo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Muno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of La Ballenera booed when PiCaNTeS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Jesus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Ballenera's goalkeeper Elvio Muno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Jesus in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Muno saved La Ballenera from getting behind. 87 minutes into the match, Gabriel Jesus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Muno. La Ballenera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Jesus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
