An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Rodriguez in the 76th minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Justo Ixona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Javiar to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Justo Ixona successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
