The Caleufú fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Caleufú's Manuel Urtungo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 8th minute Manuel Urtungo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Poz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Poz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 46 minutes into the match, Mauricio Ospetsu notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Racing Club's Godofredo Poz. Godofredo Poz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Adan Vedillo made the kick off in the second half. Natalio Diagur kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Godofredo Poz was a little too slow when Zacarias Manuelo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-7. After 69 minutes, Dalmacio Arixo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Caleufú players grew even worse after the yellow card. Godofredo Poz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Urtungo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
