Natalio Cresenciano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. ToCoTaN FC's Natalio Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Ekialde in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Hector Ebardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Isauro in the 18th minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Natalio Cresenciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by ToCoTaN FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Geronimo Isauro was slow to take the kick. During this time Rincón de los Sauces AFC's players had a chance to rest. After 21 minutes of play, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Lisandro Ekialde made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natalio Cresenciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The nice shot from Abel Orlan in the 25thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Galip Öveç had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Marco Seme kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Lisandro Ekialde who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ToCoTaN FC's Natalio Cresenciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 40th minute Geronimo Isauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Cresenciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Isauro in the 42nd minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Natalio Cresenciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Natalio Cresenciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Ekialde, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Orlan made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Jose Eliazar put in a rough tackle. After 53 played minutes Rincón de los Sauces AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Eliazar. In the 54th minute, Zeledon Matthew got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute, Lisandro Ekialde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of ToCoTaN FC booed when Rincón de los Sauces AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Modestio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee showed Domingos Herena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of ToCoTaN FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rincón de los Sauces AFC:s goal. In the 66th match minute, ToCoTaN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Chico to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Cresenciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Seme in the 70th minute of the match. Desiderio Fagondo charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Desiderio Fagondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's Desiderio Fagondo got a free kick in the 71st minute. 76 minutes into the match, Rincón de los Sauces AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Orlan came free, but Galip Öveç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd play minute Lisandro Ekialde came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Natalio Cresenciano. 2-3. Natalio Cresenciano made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Lisandro Ekialde sent off a good shot on target. Lisandro Ekialde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Natalio Cresenciano made a huge save. After having played for 98 minutes, Lisandro Ekialde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rincón de los Sauces AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Ekialde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Rincón de los Sauces AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rincón de los Sauces AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
