The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Jerrold got free with Israel Leizarraga in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Victorica AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Gabirel came free, but Israel Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Victorica AFC's Armando Ederono in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Big Babousa's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Ederono in the 24th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Damian Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Victorica AFC's Israel Leizarraga got control of the ball when Mauricio Padro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Mauricio Padro made a precise shot to the right of Israel Leizarraga. Victorica AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Mauricio Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Leizarraga having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Victorica AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Madaleno. Mauricio Padro hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Mauricio Padro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Israel Leizarraga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Big Babousa booed when Victorica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Viedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauricio Padro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Damian Jerrold took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Israel Leizarraga. Israel Leizarraga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 55th play minute Armando Ederono came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Damian Transito. 3-1. If Armando Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Leizarraga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Gabirel in the 63rd minute of the match. Damian Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Armando Ederono came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Victorica AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Ederono couldn't finish the play. Israel Leizarraga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Israel Leizarraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Gabirel in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Gabirel in the 72nd minute of play forced Victorica AFC's goalkeeper Israel Leizarraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mauricio Padro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Israel Leizarraga was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The Big Babousa fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Big Babousa's Mauricio Padro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Israel Leizarraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Big Babousa's Enzo Francescoli was substituted for Mariano Gabirel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Francescoli in the 85th minute of play forced Victorica AFC's goalkeeper Israel Leizarraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Israel Leizarraga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ricardo-Enrique Bochini went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Big Babousa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Armando Ederono scored to the left of an out of position Damian Transito, making the score, 5-2. 96 minutes into the game, Big Babousa's Enzo Francescoli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Israel Leizarraga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Big Babousa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
