Claudio Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Urtun, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes SAN LORENZO FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomás Urtun who took care of the corner kick. The corner led AZURDUY F.C.'s Tomás Urtun to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudio Berriotxoa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, AZURDUY F.C.'s Raul Tristan got a free kick in the 16th minute. The supporters of AZURDUY F.C. booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Urtun in the 21st minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Claudio Berriotxoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Sebastian Iliana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAN LORENZO FC and the AZURDUY F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SAN LORENZO FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sebastian Iliana hit a great ball. Rodrigo Balasi made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Sebastian Iliana sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Urtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Claudio Berriotxoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when AZURDUY F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Curcio didn't get a good kick on the ball. AZURDUY F.C.'s Rodrigo Balasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 61st minute of play. In the 61st match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gastón Saurø to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute Ciriaco Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 68th minute of the match. After some careless play in the AZURDUY F.C. defense, Ciriaco Cordarrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Balasi. The AZURDUY F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Balasi should have stopped the shot. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Froilan Jatsu replaced Isaias Rosario. Rodrigo Balasi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Cordarrell in the 80th minute of the match. After 85 minutes of play, SAN LORENZO FC's Ciriaco Cordarrell made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigo Balasi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Vinicio Firme made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Balasi. AZURDUY F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. SAN LORENZO FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
