ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Stellan Kalfhage quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ciriaco Rivero, made in the 15th minute of the game. John Wick kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. André Monclús's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Tuste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Isidro Asur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jacinto Tuste quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jacinto Tuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Monclús in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benja Dominguez in the 29th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Benja Dominguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benja Dominguez in the 30th minute of play forced ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Rik in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Federico Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Monclús's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Tuste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Uriel Chorche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Rik in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hurboc's Mauro Iago got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Jacinto Tuste made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when André Monclús sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Rik made a kick off. Hurboc's Jacinto Tuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Veremundo in the 58th minute of play. André Monclús's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Tuste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Benja Dominguez took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Uriel Chorche to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Hurboc getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ignacio Urtzi hit a great ball. Jacinto Tuste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Monclús in the 75th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Monclús during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús got a free kick in the 77th minute. André Monclús fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Tuste having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Hurboc's Benja Dominguez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Uriel Chorche. That made the score 1-2 after 89 minutes of play. After 92 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by André Monclús. John Wicks short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Uriel Chorche to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Rik got free with Uriel Chorche in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
