After having played for 6 minutes, Federico Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Isidro Asur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Monclús could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Paulino Lizer made a huge save. In the 19th minute Saturnino Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Chorche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Lizer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but André Monclús showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. André Monclús scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Lizer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uriel Chorche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Elizardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Niceto Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 32 minutes, Federico Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulino Lizer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saturnino Roldan scored 3-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Chorche, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ernesto Itzaina fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piratas FC's protests and gave Ernesto Itzaina a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes Piratas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Itzaina.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saturnino Roldan to make the kick off. Olle Snell's late challenge caught a Piratas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olle Snell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute of the match Piratas FC got a corner. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Cordarius ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Piratas FC's Saturnino Roldan to fire away a dangerous shot which Uriel Chorche despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 75 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalkeeper Uriel Chorche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Elizardo. When ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 87th minute André Monclús shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lizer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Monclús scored 5-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Lizer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
