Celestino Bikendi started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Sarmiento got free with Vladimiro Nafarroa in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romulo Sarmiento who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Vladimiro Nafarroa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vladimiro Nafarroa was a little too slow when Romulo Sarmiento got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Gabby Sarmiento got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Ciriaco Florian made a precise shot to the right of Bernabe George. Sarmiento de Resistencia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alberto Sarmiento got a free kick in the 29th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Rambitos FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Nafarroa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Sarmiento. Hector Bladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe George having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Alberto Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento de Resistencia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rambitos FC the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Romulo Sarmiento kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vladimiro Nafarroa. That made the score 2-1 in the 46 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romulo Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Sarmiento in the 55th minute of play. Sarmiento de Resistencia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Everardo Primo scored to the left of an out of position Bernabe George, making the score, 3-2. Hector Bladi got a throw-in 68 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Celestino Bikendi. If Ambrosio Botello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Sarmiento in the 83rd minute of play forced Rambitos FC's goalkeeper Vladimiro Nafarroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Sarmiento in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the Rambitos FC defense, Romulo Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vladimiro Nafarroa. The Rambitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vladimiro Nafarroa should have stopped the shot. Sarmiento de Resistencia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Rambitos FC for a fine match.
